Chris Brown And Karrueche: Tran On Speculation That She's Famous Because Of Her Ex [VIDEO]
From modeling gigs to television appearances and acting jobs, Karrueche Tran has made a name for herself more than a year after her breakup with singer Chris Brown. And she has made it clear she has plans to make sure she is known as more than his former flame.
Kode magazine spoke with Tran recently and said she blocks out people who says her history with Brown helped place her into a lane of fame of her own.
“I have nothing to say to anyone who has anything negative to say…”
She also spoke on cyber bullies who attack her because of Brown and other aspects of her life.
“I have a love/hate relationship with social media. I love it because it’s a built a platform for many people and businesses. It’s a new day and age in society. However there is a dark side which is negative and hurtful. I think it’s awesome to have social media as a platform to progress and build. Of course using it in the most positive and genuine way.”
Still, Brown isn’t the only famous person Tran is connected to. One of her best friends is entertainer Christina Milian.
Despite what headlines show, Tran said many of her friends go back further than many fans and critics know.
“It’s a great feeling to have genuine friends who I have known since high school. It’s kind of rare actually and I love it. Longevity in friendship is very important and one of the keys to the foundation of a happy life.”
