This year's VMAs will surely be a night to remember, and here's how you can live stream the whole thing.

The VMAs are always a beautiful, glorious mess of an award show, where the awards themselves are often the least memorable moments. From Miley Cyrus' twerking to Lady Gaga's bloody debut to Britney Spears locking lips with Madonna, the VMAs are all about those "OMG" moments.

The VMAs, taking place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, are set to air live tonight at 9/8c on MTV, but there if an option if you don't have cable. MTV is providing a live stream of the VMAs beginning at 7 p.m. ET, which will reportedly last through the end of the ceremony.

This year's VMAs will feature performances by Rihanna, who is singing a medley of songs, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, who are singing "Side to Side", Britney Spears and G-Eazy, performing "Make Me...", The Chainsmokers and Halsey, performing "Closer", Nick Jonas and Ty Dolla $ign singing "Bacon" and Future performing a yet to be announced song.

Presenters scheduled for the evening include Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Fifth Harmony, Jimmy Fallon, Alicia Keys, Ansel Elgort, Tove Lo, Shameik Moore, Rita Ora, Bebe Rexha, Jaden Smith and Olympic gold medalists Michael Phelps, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Madison Kocian and Aly Raisman.

The lineup for Video of the Year features some of the biggest stars in the world, including Adele for "Hello", Beyoncé for "Formation", Justin Bieber for "Sorry", Drake for "Hotline Bling" and Kanye West for "Famous".

As for the Best New Artist category, nominees include Desiigner, DNCE, Zara Larsson, Lukas Graham and Bryson Tiller.

This year's Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award will go to Rihanna, for her lifetime achievement in music videos.
