Apple's iPhone 7 is packed with new and exciting features, but it still may not be enough to boost sales for the company. Here is everything good and bad about the iPhone 7

Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus - The Good

It is quite ironic, but the expectations for the iPhone 7 have been pulled so low by leaks and rumors prior to the device's launch that the device actually ended up exceeded most Apple fans' expectations. The iPhone 7 might not have the most cutting-edge specs, but it is still the best iPhone that the Cupertino-based giant has ever made.

Headlining the pros of the iPhone 7 is the device's upgraded internals. While device's frame remained practically identical to the iPhone 6 and 6S, the device's internals have been upgraded and improved from the ground up. From a completely redesigned 3D Touch Home Button to the device's blazing-fast A10 Fusion chip, the iPhone 7 is leagues away from its predecessor.

Other features of the device that are particularly impressive are the devices' upgrade cameras, waterproof capabilities, and the device's new color options, including the firm's most noted color, Jet Black, a shiny finish that many have dubbed as stunning.

Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus - The Bad

Of course, the iPhone 7 also has a number of rather bad points. Design-wise, keeping the iPhone 6 and 6S' design also meant that the smartphone would still keep its relatively thick bezels. Couple this with the smartphones' 720p and 1080p IPS screens and the iPhone 7 once more appears to lag far behind the competition.

While Apple might see the removal of the headphone jack as an innovation, many iPhone users have stated that the absence of the headphone jack is a pretty big turn off for the device. After all, the iPhone doesn't really have the biggest battery among smartphones. Thus, many users are fond of using their wired earpods while charging their iPhones. This would be a very tricky affair with the iPhone 7.

Also, one thing that many have noticed is the fact that Apple is allegedly not honoring water damage in the smartphone's warranty. For a device that is promoted as waterproof, this particular discovery was quite unsettling.

Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus - Conclusions

The iPhone 7 was everything that everyone expected it to be, and then some more. While its 2-year-old design leaves much to be desired, the iPhone 7 is nonetheless a very satisfactory device with enough new features to keep its faithful supporters interested.

In fact, just minutes after being available for pre-order, the Jet Black iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were reportedly sold out. If any, that's a very good sign for the company's finances. Amid the sales slump Apple has been facing, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus might very well be what the tech giant desperately needs.
