Look, I like sneakers as much as the next person. I have a small collection of my own, which primarily consists of Adidas, Nike and several Pumas (damn, those ads with Rae and Kylie really did a number on me). However, I've been kind of itching to invest in a REALLY pricy pair, because, well, why not? I get a ton of use out of my sneakers, and whether I'm headed to the gym, going to work or even doing something nominally fancier, like a date, I'm still in some good 'ol fashioned kicks.

However, there's no way I'd ever, ever get a pair of sneakers encrusted in diamonds and plated in gold. Yet that's exactly what this limited edition Buscemi pair is: a white sneaker, topped off with 18-karat gold hardware and over 11.5 carats in diamonds. Because my tootsies just won't be complete without some ice, you know?

I think I'll get my white sneaker fix from Foot Locker, thanks. And no, before you ask, Steve Buscemi does not come included.
