Along with posing nude for the June issue of Allure magazine, actress Zoe Saldana is making headlines for allowing the publication to print her weight on the front cover.

The line on Saldan's cover story reads "Zoe Saldana: 115 Pounds of Grit and Heartache." Inside the magazine, the gorgeous Star Trek Into Darkness actress flaunted her slim figure in a fully nude shot.

In one image, it shows the actress sitting on the floor with in a natural look. Her hair is in waves, as she smiles for the cameras. Makeup artist James Kaliardos  said he wanted to maintain Saldana's all-natural look and "tried to steer away from her classic red lips."

According to the Hollywood Life, James used gold, brown, and beige eyeshadows, peach blush and nude highlighters on her cheeks, and thin layer of peachy pink lip gloss to maintain a soft and natural appearance.

After breaking up with actor Bradley Cooper earlier this year, Saldana revealed that she may consider dating women in the the future.  "[I might] end up with a woman raising my children," she said during the interview. "That's how androgynous I am."

Her comments fueled speculation that the actress was bisexual.

At the a premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness Hollywood on Tuesday,  Saldana defended her statement and confirmed that she may pursue a relationship with a woman. "It wasn't a generalization. It was a statement that I strongly stand by," she explained to reporters. "As of today, I've been attracted to the male species but if one day I wake up and I want to be with a woman, I will do that because it is my life and therefore it is my decision."

Saldana will play the role of Nina Simone in the forthcoming biopic of Nina, and has faced heavy criticism from some who said that Saldana does not look like the singer, who died in 2003.

"Just like everybody else I feel very strongly about Nina Simone, and that (this) was a story that needed to be told."

"I do believe that if everybody had more information about how this all came to be, it might help," she said.
