Director Simon McQuoid to helm "Mortal Kombat" reboot

At last New Line is preparing to create a history with the reboot of the Mortal Kombat. It is great news for the fans of the popular 'Mortal Kombat' to cherish as they are waiting for long for this reboot.

 Ultimately, after waiting for a long time New Line has ended the searching for the right person to direct this reboot project, and Simon McQuoid is selected to direct this new reboot. 

Simon McQuoid is famous as the director of many commercials. Being an Australian Filmmaker he has already achieved so many awards for his works.

Currently, the increasing demand of the commercial directors led Simon McQuoid to be a part of this new journey of adventure. 

Previously McQuoid was a part of the popular campaign of Beats by Dre, PlayStation, and others. Even he has recently become a known figure with the direction of the "Star Wars: Rogue One" -themed Duracell spot.

Now this much-talked project regarding "Mortal Kombat" is going to be his first feature film with so many new experiences are going to take place as expected.

From the sources of GAMEZONE, it is clearly revealed that New Line already attached a producer with this project to make the film a grand success. James Wan, the famous director of Furious 7, is already a key part of this project as a producer since August 2015. 

"Mortal Kombat" acquired the fame in the '90s by hitting the craze of the fans as one of the popular video games. Even it earned a good amount of profit.

 According to IMDb the story of the new feature film was actually acquired the shape from Greg Russo. But it is not properly clear yet that whether any new changes will be there or not before the beginning of the production.

 The movie is about the between the key warriors of the Earth and the evil monsters of the Outer World. Now the main character of the movie needs to win the tournament of the martial arts, known as Mortal Combat to save the world from destruction.
