Although Kree Harrison didn't take home the crown on American Idol, she is proud of the one who did.

"I'm happy for her. I love her like a sister and I'm so freaking proud of her," Harrison said of Idol winner Candice Glover, according to Access Hollywood.

After the 23-year-old Glover won the votes of American viewers, Harrison stated that she and Glover share a friendship deeper than anyone could understand.

"It's a sisterhood further than friends forever could really understand because we've gone through this experience together," Harrison told Access Hollywood.

However, Glover is just as proud of her former competitor.

"We tell each other we love each other probably 90,000 times a day," Glover said according to People. "But it really meant a lot for her to hug me and say, 'I love you, and I'm so happy for you.' And I said the same to her. I'm so proud of her."

Harrison, a 22-year-old Texas native, was unsure about what would happen when the results were announced on Thursday night. Although she may not have been voted number one, Harrison is still excited about the future.

"I get to go on tour," Harrison told People of the upcoming American Idol  tour. "Then I just want to make a record. That's all I've ever wanted to do."
