Kate Middleton will be giving birth in mid-July to the future heir to the throne and Prince William will reportedly be present for the birth.

This goes against royal tradition but an insider said that although the location for the birth is not yet set, the parents will both be there for delivery, according to Hollywood Life.

"The location hasn't officially been revealed yet, but it looks likely she'll follow tradition and give birth in the private wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, where William and Prince Harry were both born,” said royal correspondent Robert Jebsen, with regards to whether Prince William will be with his wife in the delivery room.

He added, "I'm sure he'll be there."

Although a recent report stated that the duchess would be giving birth July 13, E! News reported that the baby is due July 14. The gender of the baby has been discussed for several weeks, but Middleton has not yet revealed whether she will be having a boy or a girl.

The royal was seen enjoying a small breakfast at a café before heading for a day of shopping on May 14. After indulging in a cappuccino and a banana muffin, Middleton went to the Design Center of Chelsea Harbor, where she was looking for lighting, but left without buying anything.
