Lenovo's unique laptop offering, the Lenovo Yoga Book, was easily one of the most talked about products this year. The hybrid laptop offered some very innovative features that was not be seen anywhere else. While the laptop only came with the Microsoft Windows 10 Pro operating system installed, new reports are revealing that a Chrome OS and an Android OS version may be coming very soon.

Laptop Magazine reported quotes from an interview with Lenovo VP and GM of the company's Android and Chrome Business Group, Jeff Meredith. Meredith said that a Chrome OS version and an Android version are definitely going to be hitting the market next year. The Lenovo exec reportedly also mentioned that they were eyeing the device to be used for education, hence the addition of the more user-friendly operating systems.

It was also mentioned in the report that the both the Chrome OS version and the Android OS version will be working seamlessly when the variants rolls out. This is due to plans of adding the functionality of apps from the Google Play Store directly into Chrome OS. This means that users with the Chrome OS version can essentially download any Google Play Store apps, which will function with Chrome OS natively.

It is assumed that the new Yoga Book variants, according to Indian Express, would essentially still sport the features of the full Windows 10 version. This includes the devices fully featured touch keyboard.

This can function as both a normal keyboard and as a stylus pad, called the "Creative Pad." The hybrid device also expected features a Real Pen mode, which allows users to use regular writing pens to scribble and write notes.

As of the moment, there is still no details on the other variant's hardware specs but it should still be similar to the Windows 10 version. The current Lenovo Yoga Book sports an Intel Atom x5-z8550 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It also has 64GB of internal memory space, which is expandable via a microSD slot.
