After Samsung's mishap with the Galaxy Note 7, rumor has it that Samsung would be dropping the Note series entirely. However, newest reports suggest that the company might actually be making a Galaxy Note 8 and it is more ambitious than ever.

PCAdvisor has reported about ongoing rumors about the release date, specs and features of the new phone while people are also asking about the price of the phone. The phone, when released will step into an unsure market, with people keeping clear of anything that says Note. However, that is expected and isn't stopping Samsung from creating a brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

As with any flagships, there would be updated hardware, camera, screen and features. There are rumors floating around that the phone would be sleeker than ever before.

Samsung has always announced its Note series after it has released the S series. And this time around as well, the Galaxy Note 8 might be coming after the Galaxy S8. Samsung always introduces the world to the Note series at the IFA tech show in Berlin, before releasing the phone in early to mid-September.

As such the Galaxy Note 8 release date seems to be around September. There has been no word so far on what the Galaxy Note 8 price may be. However, Samsung would aim to make the price of the Note 8 more accessible, as the Note 7 didn't sell, and therefore Samsung would seek to maximize profits by selling twice the number of phones.

Galaxy Note 8 features would include a great screen, preferably a 2K display, a large 5.7-inch screen with better and more vivid colors. The S Pen would likely be included in the final design, and would offer more features. Samsung aims to jump into the AI assistant race by injecting their in-house Viv assistant, and the Note 8 might come with it.

Other Galaxy Note 8 rumors include Google Daydream VR support, a fingerprint scanner embedded within the display and also an iris scanner. What Samsung releases in the upcoming months is left to be seen.
