OnePlus has been one of the budget wise smartphone makers that have captured the interest of many tech enthusiasts. Now, the Chinese tech company is expected to release another "flagship killer" that might be named as OnePlus 4 or OnePlus 5 May or June next year.

According to iTech Post the upcoming flagship handset from OnePlus which might be named as OnePlus 4 or 5 might have its first appearance on May or June next year. This speculation was made since the tech giant doesn't have any patterns of unveiling devices just like other tech companies such as Apple and Samsung.

Nonetheless, it can be remembered that OnePlus released the OnePlus 3 on 14 June 2016. Then the OnePlus 2 on 28 July the year before and the original OnePlus was on 23 April 2014.

When it comes with the possible specs and features, Pocket-lint has learned that the upcoming OnePlus 4 or 5 might sport a 5.3-inches display with Quad-HD resolution. This device might also offer a glass body just like what the company has tried with the OnePlus X.

As for the hardware department of the OnePlus 4 or 5 might feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 or 835 processor that will be paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Also, a 4000mAh battery capacity has also been anticipated to power the handset. This might be a huge difference when compared with OnePlus 3T that currently offers a 3400mAh battery.

The OnePlus 4 or 5 might be armed with a dual-camera set up which can be found on certain flagship handsets made by other manufacturers. In terms of snapper resolutions, there have been no speculations as of the moment.

Moreover, the OnePlus 3T has a 16-megapixel sensor on both the front and rear cameras. This made it somehow safe to conclude that the upcoming handset might offer the same or much higher camera resolution.

Nonetheless, OnePlus hasn't confirmed anything yet so the above-mentioned information is advised to be taken with skepticism. But then, concrete details are expected to arise as the release of the OnePlus 4 or 5 nears.
