From January 4 to 22, Vegas will be on the grand stage as it hosts one of the biggest affairs in tech industry. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will showcase an array of new and upcoming sophisticated items.

First on the list is the Asus Zen. Weeks leading to the occasion, the company has sent out press invitations about its so-called 'Zennovation' celebration.

Although Asus has not spilled any secrets yet, it is being perceived that the tech group will reveal something. Part of this can be the introduction of a new smartphone device that has a Snapdragon 835 processor in it.

It is intriguing to note that the distributed invites contain a Qualcomm logo. Within this context, it is not difficult to assess the connection between the processing unit and an incoming product.

Sources reveal that the Asus Zenfone 4 will be launched. Aside from the Snapdragon processor, another item to be unveiled is the Android 7.1 Nougat which will be the OS of the unit.

With the trending of reality-enhancement accessories, it is also being anticipated that a gadget known as the Zenfone Augmented Reality item will also be introduced. The device, which had found its footing on the Project Tango of Google, is set to join the AR camera bandwagon.

In line with this, Asus will probably launch its virtual reality (VR) headset which will be complemented with cameras, controllers and sensors.

Second to be presented will be the items from Samsung. The South Korean tech giant has already leaked its plan to release a set of products in Vegas. Likely, the Galaxy A3, A5 and the A7 devices will grace the occasion for the Seoul-based firm. All these units are anticipated to have a USB-C charging docks.

The HD-designed 4.7-inch A3 will be equipped with an Exynos 7870 processor, a 2GB RAM, a 12MP rear camera, an 8MP front lens and a 3,000mAh battery. Samsung's AMOLED-surfaced 5.2-inch A5 is comprised of a 7880 processing unit with a 3GB RAM and a 3,300 mAh power cell.

In addition, the AMOLED-displayed 5.7-inch A7 has a 16MP rear camera and a 3,500mAh battery. It has a processor similar to the A3 and a RAM identical to the A5.

Coming up next is the LG V5. It is believed that the 5.5-inch flagship of the South Korean electronics firm will have a micro USB dock and a fingerprint scanner.

Meanwhile, it is perceived that Huawei will have major surprises to announce considering that it is a big night for the Chinese tech organization. With CEO Richard Yu expected to be on the podium for the CES 2017 keynote address, an upcoming handset succeeding the P9 will probably be launched. It is also likely that the end-to-end edge surface of the Honor Magic will be displayed.

Lastly, Xiaomi will be making its CES debut with a product that is still under wraps. As indicated on its introductory video, an incoming device will be unveiled.
