Guardians of The Galaxy is coming back to movie theatres and its first trailer has got its fans in a frenzy. The movie would be dropping sometime in 2017. Baby Groot's first movie would be taking a while to be released, but fans have been waiting eagerly to get glimpse of the movie.

Entertainment Weekly reported that James Gunn, the director of Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2, has teased that the movie would be better in scope and size and would outmatch the first movie which in itself was very good. Chris Pratt, the hero of the movie, said that the movie would be satisfying to the fans.

Since the movie is still in the works, the actor did not reveal much about the plot, but said that the emotional quotient of the movie itself would be much higher than the previous movie in comparison. As such, Chris Pratt expressed that he cried when he read the script.

Chris also said that the plot is fun, but also has deep emotion and dynamics between the characters. As for the movie, it is set two months after the events of the previous film.

James Gunn had stated that the studio was looking at a timeskip during which Groot would have fully grown. However, Gunn pitched in, wishing to do this film to develop the characters a bit more.

In the events of this movie, Star Lord (Chris Pratt) is hunting for his father who turns out to be Ego, a living planet whose human form is being played by Kurt Russel. During this film, a lot of importance is given to the characters and the relationships they share.

As of now, the movie seems to be as every bit engaging as portrayed in the Guardians of The Galaxy  trailer.

Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 is arriving in May, 2017. Stay tuned for more Guardians of The Galaxy updates.
