Here are our five favorites from the past year:

iPhone 7
 


Apple's latest iPhone, the iPhone 7, was released on Sept. 16 and it has been selling like hotcakes. Some of the new features on this iPhone included the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack, a static home key, water resistance and a greater rear-facing camera.

Oculus Rift
 


The Oculus Rift has taken off in a major way since its release in March. The Oculus Rift has essentially become the go-to headset for virtual reality technology, with an asking price of $599.

Bose QuietComfort 35 Headphones
 


Wireless headphones have been all the rage over the past few years, with the new Bose QuietComfort 35 headphones helping lead the pack. The noise-cancelling headphones have been very well-reviewed by experts, who praise the headphones' comfort and strong bluetooth connection.

DJI Mavic Pro Drone
 


Drone technology continues to improve despite the bumpy road that's led to this point. Luckily the DJI Mavic Pro Drone has impressed the world, with its five vision sensors and 4K camera technology.

Samsung Galaxy S7
 


Much like the iPhone 7, the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone came with a lot of hype before its release on March 11. The phone has not been a disappointment, with improvements in camera technology and the return of the micro SD card slot.
