It's finally coming! After a long wait, Rick and Morty Season 3 now has a sure release date as Adult Swim recently dropped the animated series official trailer. The sneak peek gave a glimpse of the favorite Rick and Morty's new adventure.

The new trailer runs for almost three minutes featuring, of course, the dynamic duo, storyboard animation, and voice-overs. It is also revealed as part of the show's network, Adult Swim, live stream that it hosted recently.

In the "Ricky and Morty" Season 3 clip, Morty is in his locker room when he hears and sees Jessica talking with her friends in a not-safe-for-work (NSFW) topic. Later, he comes near to the group to join their chat, but Rick pulls him away. Aside from Morty's effort to get the attention of his crush, the scene shifts to an intergalactic battle when Rick opens a hole on the wall.

Meanwhile, Movie Pilot analyzed the new trailer of the adult science fiction sitcom and the meanings of every scene. As Rick can be seen free with Morty, evidently, he managed to escape the prison from the previous season.

Morty, too, is still having a hard time to get along with everyone as he is still struggling to adjust as an adult in Rick and Morty Season 3. In fact, he is trying his best effort to balance his life as a high school student with his interdimensional activities.

Furthermore, it looks like the series created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon will bear a Star Wars theme. As seen in the trailer, it has used a few scenes from the iconic franchise when Rick tells Morty that he needs a plasma chard like the princess' to be "awesome."

Also, the pair is seen attacking a genital-like version of the Death Star while facing what-looks-like Tie Fighters. When Rick and Morty won, they imitate the ending of A New Hope while the Star Wars iconic soundtrack plays in the background. Rick and Morty Season 3 will return in March 2017 on Adult Swim.
