Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are now excited for the announcement of Thor 3 that would carry a movie title, Thor: Ragnarok. What makes these viewers more eager to see the film is the collaboration of the two Avenger superheroes Thor and Hulk.

Knowing that the movie will be about the two superheroes, speculations started to swirl that it will feature the Planet Hulk storyline from the comics. This assumption is even proved by the gladiator armor of Hulk that was revealed at the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Screen Rant reported.

As the rumors about Thor: Ragnarok become strong, the film's director Taika Waititi supported the claim by hinting the appearance of Korg and confirming the arrival of Meik. These characters have said to have a role in the upcoming movie's plot, adding that the planet of Sakaar will also be seen.

In fact, in an interview with Total Film - through MCU Exchange - Waititi verified that Sakaar will be the film's location. "Sakaar was just an insane, far-off, futuristic place which was the biggest shift for the film and these characters," he said.

"I was really excited when Kevin [Feige] and the rest of Marvel jumped on board with the idea to use [Jack] Kirby as a big influence in the design of the film. What's really hard is staying authentic," Waititi added. Thor: Ragnarok might be more exciting compared to the Avengers and Captain America for featuring unusual places that are not explored in the said two films.

The viewers first saw a strange location on the Guardians of the Galaxy and this may continue in the third installment of the Thor film. They, too, will now know the deeper story surrounding the world of Thor along with the magic of the other characters like Hela (Cate Blanchett), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum).

Thor: Ragnarok is set to hit the theaters on Nov. 3, 2017. For more Marvel Cinematic Universe news, stay tuned on EnStarz.
