It looks like there will be a great collaboration between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Henry Cavill happening in Man of Steel 2. Recently, the two actors were seen together and hinting that the DC anti-hero Black Adam and the much-loved superhero Superman will be seen on one big screen.

The star of Batman v Superman shared a snap together with the former WWE wrestler on Christmas day hinting a possible project. The photo, too, has a teasing caption suggesting that they are about to work on a movie together.

"Merry Christmas a Happy New Year from Superman and Black Adam @therock. Today we drink like gentleman and come together as friends. We're excited for what the future brings," Cavill shared. He also used the hashtags #DCWorldsWillCollide. Does he just hint their team up in Man of Steel 2?

The Rock, on the other hand, also posted the same pictures with the same teasing caption. "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Black Adam and Superman (@henrycavill)," he wrote using the same hashtag Cavill used.

According to SlashFilm, the photo is definitely a proof that Superman and Black Adam are going face to face in a future film and this might be Man of Steel 2. The Rock might previously reveal that his supervillain role is not going to battle Superman in his upcoming movie, Shazam.

But it is never confirmed that Black Adam will not appear in Man of Steel 2. Cavill's statement, too, is enough evidence that their worlds are about to collide in one big DC movie.

To recall, Black Adam and Superman are two of the most powerful creatures in the DC comic universe. If this indeed happens, movie and superhero enthusiasts will definitely have the best treat from DC.

In the meantime, Henry Cavill will be seen in the much-awaited Justice League movie coming on Nov. 17. The Rock's Shazam is set to be released in 2019.
