Lady Gaga has no intention of shocking censors by showing off her skin at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.

It sounds like Super Bowl viewers shouldn't expect another "Nipplegate", a.k.a. Janet Jackson accidentally showing her breast from the 2004 halftime show. Gaga has reportedly let officials at the NFL know that she is keeping everything in tact, as it were.

"They do not want any repeat of Nipplegate or any controversies," an insider told the New York Daily News. "So Gaga has assured them that she will keep everything tucked in and covered, with her style team planning a toupe tape fest to keep her clothes glued to her body."

Gaga hasn't been afraid to flaunt her body in music videos and live performances in the past, but that will not be the case at this year's halftime show.

"Even her famous denim shorts, which she wore on he recent dive bar tour are out as they show her a-- cheeks. But her style team is already working on rehearsals for costume changes to get it right," the insider added.

That doesn't mean the NFL still isn't worried about a possible incident, though.

"We are told it is this is the most concerned bosses have been since Janet's Nipplegate," said the source.

This is worth noting considering other pop artists who headlined the halftime show, including Katy Perry, Madonna and Beyoncé, haven't been shy about showing off their toned bodies in the past. Regardless, Gaga has toned down her image in recent years so there's probably less concern than there would have been during her Born This Way era.

Gaga previously said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that she is hoping to give "the best show for the football fans, the ones that are watching at home." She is expected to perform some of her best hits as well as material from her new album, Joanne.

The Super Bowl is set to air Sunday, Feb. 5 on Fox, starting at approximately 6:30 p.m. ET. It is taking place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
