For all the flak that some of today's hottest stars receive, many of them are among the most charitable people in the world.

DoSomething.org has come out with its annual "Celebrities Gone Good" list, revealing the stars who have done the most good through charitable organizations. The list includes actors, musicians, comedians, Broadway stars and social media moguls, all of which have had impact on various charities and organizations all around the world.

Beyoncé tops the list of most charitable celebrities. As the group explains, Beyoncé was crowned no. 1 on the list for raising awareness for the plight of black men and women in America from the water crisis in Flint, Michigan to the #BlackLivesMatter movement "by sharing the red carpet at MTV's VMAs with the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, Michael Brown and Oscar Grant III. Additionally, Beyoncé teamed up with Jay-Z to host a charity concert with Tidal to benefit the poverty-fighting organization, The Robin Hood Foundation."

Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda came in at no. 2, for his support after the Pulse nightclub shootings in Orlando, in addition to his support of Planned Parenthood. Taylor Swift was ranked third for her donation of $1 million to Louisiana after their floods earlier in the year. Then there's Demi Lovato at no. 4; the singer has continued to raise awareness for mental health issues and bullying. Shailene Woodley came in at no. 5 for her support of the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Rounding out the top 10 included John Cena at no. 6, Miley Cyrus at no. 7, Lady Gaga at no. 8, Zendaya at no. 9 and Jesse Williams at no. 10. Others in the top 20 include Tyler Oakley, Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Gina Rodriguez and Shawn Mendes.

The list also came with five young celebs to watch in 2017, who have each used their newfound celebrity for good. The list includes Rowan Blanchard at no. 1, followed by Amandla Stenberg, Jaden Smith, Alessia Cara and Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler.
