Microsoft Surface line-up has been a massive hit till now. Everyone is waiting for the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017, which expected to be released this year.

Rumors suggest that the Surface Phone will have a camera better than any and will also sport a Carl Zeiss tag. It is also highly possible that Microsoft will borrow certain features from the Lumia phones or at least be inspired from them.

According to the NEUROGADGET report, the Microsoft Surface Phone will be running on the latest Windows 10 operating system and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. Leaked images have also confirmed single grille speakers at the top along with 3.5mm headphone jack. The same speakers will also be present at the bottom with USB Type-C port in the middle.

However other claim from Neowin says that, the Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is naturally expected to run on the latest version of Windows 10 Mobile operating system. The problem is, Windows 10 is not a popular operating system for a reason, some of which were relaid by NuAns president Tetsushi Hoshikawa.

The latest Surface Phone will be made available in 2017 and Microsoft is working round the clock. The company is also reportedly running trial production test to find out glitches and flaws in the device.

Certainly, the Surface Phone 2017 will not be just another run of the mill device. It is being developed with care and will reportedly carry some of the best specs and killer features to awe fans. The speculated features of Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 include a 5.7-inch touch screen display with 2K resolution, Office 365, Azure AD and Skype.

Surface Phone will go against other top flagships of 2017 as Apple iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 and even possible Google Pixel successors. In the meantime, Microsoft has slashed Surface Book prices by US$150 in the US, writes GSMArena.

This is being considered by many as a clear sign that the company will soon release the successor, Microsoft Surface Book 2 and Intel has announced its 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake processors at CES 2017 also.

So, the Surface Book 2 may come out anytime now as the device is rumoured to be waiting for the Kaby Lake processors. Again, Microsoft has not confirmed anything officially, hence, fans should tune in for official announcement for Surface Phone 2017 as well.
