As Avengers: Infinity War readies to go on the floor, speculations about the ensemble cast have been gaining steam and now some characters have been confirmed as well.

Fans do know that superheroes like Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy are joining but there is no official confirmation about them. Thankfully, a few have been finalized.

Zoe Saldana will be reprising her role as Gamora for Avengers: Infinity War, reports Comicbook. At the recently-held Golden Globe Awards, she confirmed that she would be starring in the Marvel movie.

When asked about its script, the 38-year-old actress said that she does not know when the team would let her see it and she is not looking forward to the five hours of green makeup. However, she admitted that every time she arrives on set, she is so happy and lucky to be there.

Notably, fans have been wondering how Marvel Studios would balance the screen time of multiple actors who are playing multiple characters in the highly-awaited film. President Kevin Feige of the studio had also underlined the issue last year.

Back then, he said that a lot of the back-and-forth is going to come down to the script of the movie. However, he did say that Chris Markus and Steve McFeely have a very deft hand with balance and the movie is in capable hands.

In the meantime, it is also said that the character of Betty Ross would be making a comeback, reports Cinema Blend. Liv Tyler, who essayed the role of the gamma scientist and Bruce Banner's ex-girlfriend, is also expected to return. The last time she appeared in Marvel Comic Universe was in 2008 in The Incredible Hulk and since then there has been no mention of hers.

Though Hulk was confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War a long time back, Ross was not hinted at until now. Also, it is yet not clear if her father General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross will return as well.

Fans would have to wait till an official announcement is made by Marvel or the actors themselves. Avengers: Infinity War is expected to hit the theaters in April 2018.
