Something big and exciting is coming to China very soon. Nokia will be making a huge comeback in the mobile market and the firm has chosen the Mainland as its grand opening stage.

With the Finnish group HMD Global at the helm, the road ahead certainly looks promising for the Espoo-based tech firm. In 2017, the world will be seeing the primary Android device from Nokia.

It is anticipated that specifications for the 5.5-inch and aluminum-cased handset include the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, a 4GB RAM and a display resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It also has a 16MP rear lens and an 8MP front camera.

Although the information about the upcoming Nokia 6 is limited, important announcements will be revealed on February 26 this year. Considering that the date is the schedule of an annual tech event, HMD Global is all pumped up to make an impact.

With the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona coming up this February, Nokia is on the right track to publicize its plans and presentations. In addition to the Android unit, other smartphone products will also be introduced.

Although Nokia will be making some waves in China, there is no guarantee that its comeback has been solidified. The device being marketed inside the giant nation is technically limited.

The Nokia 6 will not be running Google services in China. Domains like Google Play Store, Google Maps and even Google Accounts are prohibited on the Mainland which is why attending the MWC is very essential.

The Mobile Congress is a prelude to HMD Global's international release. The organization needs the summit to widen its scope and exhibit the technological functions of its forthcoming product.

It must be noted that HMD has been officially locked-in to market the Nokia mobile brand for the next ten years. Although the label is being managed by another entity, Nokia is also venturing into telecommunications infrastructure items and camera products like the professional type Ozo.
