Tom Cruise is reportedly ready to quit Scientology to be with daughter, Suri Cruise.

It was just some days back that Tom Cruise hit the headlines as he was nowhere to be seen at an important event of the Scientology Church in San Diego. His absence became a talking point in the media with many saying that the actor is no longer following the cult religion. However, now it has come out that his absence could have something to do with daughter Suri.

It is said that Tom Cruise is willing to give up the controversial religion for the sake of his daughter Suri who he shares with Katie Holmes, reports Counsel & Heal. Insiders claim that he has not been able to devote much time to his daughter and this is not because of his busy work schedule. Scientology is a prominent reason that he is not there for Suri and it has made him rethink his equation with the controversial religion.

However, neither Cruise nor the Church has said anything about the rumors of breaking up and as of now, he is very much a follower of Scientology. It remains to be seen if he will continue to do so amidst the rumors. What is more, ex-wife Katie Holmes would be free in some time to speak about the mystery around Scientology and Cruise's beliefs as the contract that barred her from speaking about the religion will expire this year.

Speaking of Holmes, the 38-year-old actress seems to have moved on in life as she is busy looking after Suri, claims Ocean Drive. In an interview, she said that she does not really regret anything she has done. She admitted that she has learned from everything and according to her everything sort of leads one to the next place. Some time back, she had also said that daughter Suri is the inspiration behind everything she does and her directorial venture is dedicated to her daughter dear as well.

Katie Holmes does seem to be doing a great job as a single mother and though one does not know how much Suri misses daddy Tom Cruise, one cannot deny that she would be really delighted if he takes out time for her, leaving Scientology on the back seat.
