LeAnn Rimes has been involved in a Twitter battle with Brandi Glanville for more than a year but on Thursday, she got help from Courtney Love who promised to take care of any "troublemakers".

Glanville vented about having to co-parent with Rimes on Monday. She tweeted her followers about not being able to communicate with her son, Mason and Jake. Their father is Eddie Cibrian, Glanville's ex and Rimes' spouse. Glanville was angered that there were no responses to her phone calls, e-mails and made her feelings known on Twitter. She told Rimes to "mind her business" when it came to her sons but Love decided to enter the fray.

"Send the trouble makers to me, I eat that sh*t for breakfast. Leanns my girl,u f**k with her you f**k with me!" Love tweeted Thrusday.

The post has since been deleted but Love retweeted another message of support for Rimes. Rob Thomas also took to Twitter to warn critics of Rimes to find another target.

"Everyone who gives @leannrimes a hard time, be embarrassed that u read enough celebrity gossip to give someone you don't know a hard time," he tweeted on Monday.

Rimes offered a thank you to her fellow entertainers in a tweet on Thursday. The How Do I Live singer said she loved them both. Glanville did not directly respond to Love or Thomas but did soften her angry stance.

"Co-parenting is hard I opened up a can of worms lastnight after reading some dishonest tweets about my kids. Lets move on today thank u," she wrote Wednesday.

The ignited feud between Rimes and Glanville came just as Rimes has been on a publicity tour for her new album, Spitfire. In an appearance on Entertainment Tonight Wednesday, Rimes said she asked to be forgiven for her affair with Cibrian who is now her husband. In 2009, she cheated with Cibrian after the two filmed a Lifetime movie. At the time, Rimes was married to dancer Dean Sheremet for eight years and Cibrian was wed to Brandi Glanville.

"We are human beings who are going to sin and make mistakes and if you have that connection, for me, is something that I feel is bigger than me, it's not something that's unusual to do," Rimes said.
