Ubisoft has just recently released the in-development version of their highly awaited 1.6 update for their highly popular online-only open world shooter video game, Tom Clancy's The Division. The updates' patch notes have also been released, which now give players the chance to see the different changes that will be coming to the game once the big update goes live for all platforms.

The company, however, has warned players that the patch notes may not necessarily reflect everything that will be coming with the update, seeing as that it is still in the development stage. Updates 1.6 is also only available for PC players and only live on the game's public test servers (PTS).

Nevertheless, the update itself seems to be quite substantial as it will be greatly expanding the new Dark Zones with added areas, leaderboards and events, as per a report from Gamespot. Playing through the Dark Zones will also be quite different as players will apparently no longer lose any experience or money when they are killed, unless of course, they are in the Rogue state. Fast travel will also now be made possible after the update goes live.

Aside from the Dark Zone changes, The Division Update 1.6 will also be including a number of adjustments to the game's Gear Sets. The patch notes unfortunately do not outline all of the changes, but a Reddit user has compiled an entire spreadsheet that does provide a more detailed outline of the item and stat changes.

Ubisoft has yet to announce an official release date for update 1.6. The company mentioned that its release will apparently greatly rely on the outcome of the PTS process. Additionally, the company has also revealed to fans that Update 1.6 and the upcoming new Last Stand DLC will not be the last ones that will be coming out for the game.
