The Clash of Clans recently obtained an upgrade which makes the game more stable than before and it has also remove the winter theme in the game. Also, Supercell already publicized a statement saying that it will discontinue the support of old iOS devices.

According to Neurogadget, the bugs refer to the Clan Castle reporting errors and troops. Also, the released optional upgrade will most likely eliminate the winter theme from the game, which was unveiled in the Winter Update released in December.

The said upgrade for Clash of Clans will also enhance the running of the game on older devices and smartphones using the process which is called streamlining the memory. Nevertheless, the updates are not compulsory for everybody, but then if the gamers want to take advantage of the comprehensive experience of playing this game, they should certainly install the update.

Aside from that, Mobile & Apps has learned that Supercell already publicized that they must terminate support for all Apple devices running on iOS versions lower than 7.x to provide the next Clash of Clans update. Also, the game developer clarified that it is necessary for them to end support due to technical reasons outside their control. With this scenario, it is now recommended for the players to update their iOS to version 7.x or higher as soon as possible to continue enjoying Clash of Clans.

For reference, the devices that cannot update to iOS 7.x or higher include the iPhone 3G S, iPad 1st generation and iPod Touch 3rd and 4th generation. Also here are some Apple products originally unveiled with an iOS version lower than 7.x, but can be updated to higher versions, namely the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Mini 1st generation, and iPod Touch 5th generation.

 So for the Clash of Clan players who use Apple devices that are not eligible to be updated to iOS 7.x at least will need new gadgets to continue playing the game. Also, it is advised to update the version of the video game to have inclusive experience in playing.
