He's fighting his ex for full custody of their son in court, but since a judge rewarded temporary custody to Paula Patton, Robin Thicke has only seen six-year-old Julian once.

According to People Magazine, Thicke saw his son last Friday, but did not see him again over the weekend, which has reportedly started another round of fighting between he and Patton, because he allegedly elected not to see his son.

"He did not exercise his right to spend time with his son and the monitor on Saturday, citing a business meeting. However, Paula offered alternate times that Julian could see Robin with the monitor that weekend, but he declined all visitation," a source said. "These are the actions of a father who claimed he wanted to spend time with his son."

A Thicke source however, reportedly claims that the allegation Thicke didn't want to spend time with his son is only the latest attempt by Patton to try and destroy his rep and aid her case.

"[Patton] keeps trying to bury him, and this is a concerted effort to prejudice the public against him. He has taken no such campaign against her," the source said. "He's taking this extremely seriously, and it's unfortunate and very difficult when you're on the receiving end of a campaign of negativity."

The new report comes after Patton alleged in court documents last week that Thicke had physically and verbally abused her during their marriage, had a drug problem, and had cheated on her throughout the marriage. The hearing where those documents were made public ended with a judge granting Patton temporay sole legal and physical custody and Thicke supervised visitation with Julian three days a week at a neutral location until the next hearing on Feb. 24.

The Patton source also claims that she never wanted to make these things public, but decided it was necessary in order to fight for what was best for her son,.

"Paula was very much wanted to keep this within the family, as she believes that was in Julian's best interest," the source said. "However, she has to fight back to protect her son. As a mother, it's one thing to stay quiet if you're the victim of abuse, but once that extends to your child, you have to speak up."

The Thicke source didn't comment on the allegations but his attorney did release a statement questioning the validity of Patton's claims due to the timing of their being released.

"Paula never reported any domestic violence until she was in a position of contempt by violating the custody orders," she said.
