"Horizon Zero Dawn" is Guerrilla Games' next massive promise to the gaming world. Given that the game's entirety has been labelled on a general note, there are those who may think it will all be about giant robots and extinguishing them-but the company has spoken up about its deeper aspects.

The gaming community was shook by gargantuan creature games such as "Far Cry Primal" and "ARK: Survival Evolved," which at some point implies the similar concept of Guerilla Games' entry. However, the team behind it explains how it takes pride not just in action, but also in the substance of "Horizon Zero Dawn."

According to Digital Trends, "Horizon Zero Dawn" can be compared on sharing the concept of other plot-based role-playing games such as the "Mass Effect" and "The Witcher" franchises. The aforesaid games have created impact in terms of storytelling, whereas it maintains the said adrenaline-filled moments of open-world games like "Assassin's Creed" and "Far Cry."

As it was revealed, "Horizon Zero Dawn" tackles on the story of a girl named Aloy who lives off the remnants of what was once the known Earth, in which man is divided into tribes with distinct power and influence. Aloy's group is classified as those who are at the bottom of the food chain, also attempting to survive around an environment with gigantic robotic animals.

Guerrilla Games is most known for the first-person marvel "Killzone." "Horizon Zero Dawn" is slated to release by the end of the month.

Lead Writer John Gonzalez explained that the concepts of the game went all the way back to when he first joined, three years ago. "That [concept] was a big part of why I came on board. It was that they actually posed this mystery of how this world would come about that I felt like I had to get to the bottom of. I wanted to, like, come up with the answers myself," Gonzalez explained.
