The Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik has finalized her divorce from Michael Stone in an amicable way, according to reports.

 After a nine-year relationship, the parents of two are calling it quits, reports Us Weekly. The couple finalized papers last week, officially dividing their property. Bialik walked away with a 1,400-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment in Studio City, Calif. Meanwhile her former husband retains ownership of their three-bedroom, 1,300 square-foot home in Sherman Oaks, Calif., according to TMZ. 

"After much consideration and soul-searching, Michael and I have arrived at the decision to divorce due to "Irreconcilable Differences,'" Bialik stated back in November on the parenting site Kveller. "Divorce is terribly sad, painful and incomprehensible for children. It is not something we have decided lightly."

However, the couple is still very concerned about taking care of their two boys, 7-year-old Miles and 4-year-old Fred.

"The main priority for us now is to make the transition to two loving homes as smooth and painless as possible," Bialik stated on Kveller. "Our sons deserve parents committed to their growth and health and that's what we are focusing on."

The couple practiced attachment parenting, according to the Daily Mail. This parenting style involves constant contact with young children, including co-sleeping and long term breast-feeding. However, the Daily Mail states that this was not listed as a reason for the couples divorce.
