The third quarter for 2017 is nearing its full circle but up until now, "Grand Theft auto 6" or "GTA 6" details are still scarce. With the said scarcity of promotions and teasers for the popular franchise from Rockstar Games, players are already thinking of the possibility of cancellation.

In a report by Gaming Bolt, speculations have reportedly been spreading online that the release of "GTA 6" and "Red Dead Redemption 2" will mark the end of "GTA" online. This is reportedly one of the reasons why the development for "GTA 6" is full of stops and delays, because Rockstar Games wants to have a smooth transition for "GTA Online" players.

If the said speculations are true, it would mean that the Import/Export DLC for "GTA Online" last Dec. 2016 was the last one for the online game version. As the "Red Dead Redemption 2" release date draws near, the possibility of "GTA 6" developments is being looked forward to. The possible end of "GTA Online" is highly possible because it would give Rockstar Games more time to focus on the development of "GTA 6."

However, it is highly encouraged that readers take this report with a grain of salt as it remains unconfirmed as of writing. Rockstar Games have yet to issue an official statement to address the rumors and speculations about the possible end of "GTA Online" to make way for "GTA 6."

Gaming Bolt further reports that a certain blogger with the username Yan 2295 has backed up the "GTA 6" speculations on his blog. The said blogger has had a good track record in terms of predicting certain Rockstar Games milestones such as leaking "Red Dead Redemption 2" and sharing that an LA Noire remaster is possibly on its way.Although the previous predictions and leaks have been proven to be reliable, it would be best to wait for the official announcement of Rockstar Games.

Meanwhile, NSEAVoice also reports that players are already losing interest in "GTA 5 Online." If Rockstar Games is aware of the current "stuck in a rut" situation of "GTA 5 Online," the most possible thing it could do is to focus on "GTA 6" to vindicate the franchise.
