Zoe Saldana may have fueled up some controversy when she said she might "end up with a woman," but she was recently spotted in Italy with her new boyfriend. 

USA TODAY reported that the actress has been traveling around the world, promoting two films: Star Trek and Blood Ties. While on business, the 34-year-old has been making plenty of time for pleasure, as she was photographed on Monday kissing her new love, Italian artist Marco "Pirate" Perego. 

The Daily Mail has images of the couple kissing and being intimate as they enjoyed their time together eating lunch and taking an adventurous ride on a speedboat. 

The pair was also seen on the balcony of their Italian villa, dressed in bathrobes. Saldana is pictured leaning on Perego's shoulder.

Perego, 34, who is called "Pirate Perego" because of his long hair and resemblance to Johnny Depp in the movie, Pirates of The Caribbean is reportedly a professional soccer player who turned to artistry after injuring his leg. 

The New York Post reported that he moved to Harlem and worked as a waiter and busboy before he landed his first big break selling his work to Giorgio Armani. In 2008, he produced a sculpture of a bloody and dead Amy Winehouse titled "The Only Good Rock Star Is a Dead Rock Star."

Saldana and Perego were first said to be dating after they were spotted kissing at a Los Angeles private party.

"They looked very close and were later seen kissing," a source told The Post. 

Another source said the couple "have known each other for a while as friends. It's too early to say they are dating."

Saldana recently ended her relationship with Hangover actor Bradley Cooper. Before the actor, she endured an 11-year-romance with former fiancé, Keith Britton. They broke up in 2011.

In the June issue of Allure, Saldana said she is done dating actors. 

"Been there, done that, got the T-shirt,' she said.
