The Pokemon Company is giving away Silver Bottle Caps for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players until Mar. 5. But then, this promotion from the company just garnered criticisms from the day it was launched.

According to WWG, one of the newest features that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has is the Hyper Training. This is a technique wherein trainers could max out any Pokemon's IV statistics. For reference, the IVs are concealed stats that influence how dominant an individual Pokemon is and trainers are not capable of changing it before.

It can be remembered that before, the only method to obtain a perfect IV Pokemon is to get through a strenuous breeding routine that is most often resulting for thousands of cull Pokemon. But now with the Hyper Training, any Level 100 Pokemon will have the capability to gain perfect IVs as long as their trainers have a Bottle Cap to offer to Mr. Hyper which is an NPC personality in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

The Bottle Cap that has been given away by the Pokemon Company to "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players is a Silver Bottle Cap, which will let then to max out all of a Pokemon's IV stats to 31. Meanwhile, the Gold Bottle Cap will spontaneously increase all of a Pokemon's IV stats to 31.

Although this giveaway seems to be pretty cool, Polygon has learned that not all "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players are happy about it. As a matter of fact, it has garnered criticism from players since the avid patrons discovered an easy way to obtain Bottle Cap.

Way back in November fans of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has learned a short version to get Bottle Cap and all they have to do is to install a specific lottery shop which is called Festival Plaza that will give then numerous bottle caps regularly. With the use of this technique, those trainers who are serious about Hyper Training can take as an advantage.

Moreover, the Pokemon Company in cooperation with several game stores this "Pokemon Sun and Moon" special giveaway. For the players in the US they could simply visit GameStop to get their much-owned bottle cap. Also, similar freebies are happening in Canada through EB Games and in the UK via GAME stores.
