The patrons of Samsung Electronics are looking forward to the release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Luckily, leak images of these handsets hinted the smartphones' specs and features ahead of March 29 launch.

According to BGR, a tipser under the username of Dimitri12 has revealed images of purportedly Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. Aside from the photos, he also listed the specs and features of Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+, which he claims that were taken from the Samsung promotional documents.

Based on the alleged documents the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature 5.8-inch Super AMOLED QHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. This smartphone will be engineered with Snapdragon 835 processor for US model, while Samsung Exynos 8895 will be made available for a global model. When it comes to the camera department the Galaxy S8 will house a 12-megapxel front-facing camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper. It will arrive pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and this device will have 64 GB of internal storage. Other features include 3,000 mAH battery, Iris Scanner and Type-C USB.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will sport 6.2-inch Super AMOLED QHD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. This handset will be powered by 3,500 mAh capacity battery and it will boast a 128 GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, other features of this handset are just similar to its sibling; Samsung Galaxy S8.

In addition, The Inquirer has noted that Samsung Electronics already confirmed during its MWC press conference that the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus will be unveiled at a separate event that will be held in New York City on 29 March. It was also noted that previous speculations hinted that these phones will become available on 21 April, but now reports suggest that the accessibility has been pushed back until 28 April.

If the leaked images and specs of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus are proven to be true it appears that these handsets have almost similar specs. Moreover, Samsung hasn't confirmed this yet thus fans of the company are advised to take these details with a pinch of salt.
