"GTA 6" is still a long way from happening, if not at all, but there are seemingly endless rumors and speculations as to when the highly anticipated video game will come out. Some claim that it is simply a matter of patience at this point, especially as the fifth game is still doing well for the moment.

According to The New High Online, "GTA 6" may take a few more years before to even be heard of, putting into account what is happening to Rockstar Games thus far. This includes not just the existing fifth entry, but also the anticipated sequel to their other game, "Red Dead Redemption 2." With several games expected to come out, the focus of Rockstar Games may not be completely engaged in the proposed sixth part just yet.

Easter Eggs found within the present "Grand Theft Auto" game suggest that the sixth installment could arrive around 2021 at the earliest, although no response from Rockstar Games was noted on the matter. Seeing the numbers 2013 and 2021 in an airport; with the earlier being the release date of the fifth game, it is almost apparent to many that there will be "GTA 6" and will come on such year.

As per Value Walk, it was said that "GTA 6" could come alongside the next generation consoles, namely the PlayStation 5. Although this is still an uncertainty, it is said to make sense for Rockstar Games to do so, as it could be the introductory title offering by the company for the hardware.

Other rumors on "GTA 6" claim that there could be a female lead in the game; one of the plans that Rockstar Games has kept on its shelves for the longest time but is yet to find a game to put it on. Hollywood star Eva Mendes is one that many are considering the idea, alongside her husband Ryan Gosling. Other than that, fans will have to keep their fingers crossed and find out more in the near future.
