"IT" is considerably one of the most recognized Stephen King classics ever to have surfaced in the cinematic universe. Recently, leaks on what the film has in store have treated fans heavily on more horror, however, the production team has done a good job of not revealing too much to the public.

According to Movie Web, participants of the SXSW festival were given a glimpse of the terrifying Pennywise the Clown in a trailer made exclusive for those present. It was said that the clip showcases how Georgie was given a paper boat and just as he was playing, it was taken towards a gutter where an iconic scene takes place, one which the original "IT" was famous for.

It was revealed that the audiences who saw the "IT" clip were baffled intensely by the scenes, and while it may be a different rendition of the original, it still contained the horror of the source material. More so that an image of the scene was featured in Empire magazine, with Pennywise peeking menacingly into a sewer drainage. Details are still somewhat uncertain at this point, although some are already considerably official.

One of these is being R-rated, as per Screen Rant. While the aforesaid footage was made exclusive, it was said that a new trailer will surface in the next few days, presumably with a different set of content to go with it. Nonetheless, no further information has come just yet pertaining to the possible "IT" trailer that could already be well underway.

"IT" is known the world over as the progenitor of the "killer clown" ideas, with the immortal entity allegedly preying on a group of children. The upcoming rendition will star Bill Skarsgard, who is given a whole new darker look compared to the predecessor. It is slated to hit theaters on September 8, 2017.
