Attendees at the recent 2017 CinemaCon in Las Vegas just had a very lucky day as they unexpectedly see a glimpse of "Star Wars - Episode 8: The Last Jedi" trailer. Although the teaser only runs for a few seconds, they still saw a big reveal that hints the movie's theme.

Disney revealed a short teaser of "Star Wars - Episode 8: The Last Jedi" featuring Rey (Daisy Ridley). Although there were only a few people that have seen the unexpected trailer, Slash Film's Peter Sciretta was there at the event and gave and shared to his followers on Twitter what he saw.

"Just saw a short glimpse of 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' footage in a sizzle reel," he tweeted. Here, Rey was holding a lightsaber, caught a light and moved the rocks. Even though this just a very short clip of "Star Wars - Episode 8: The Last Jedi," this still gives a lot to expect.

According to Daily Express, the short teaser hints Rey's Jedi training in "Star Wars - Episode 8: The Last Jedi" now begins. Some say that she is now under the supervision of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) on his planet of Ahch-To.

Rey's moving of rocks in "Star Wars - Episode 8: The Last Jedi" is said to be adapted from the scene in "Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back." Here, Luke did what she has done in the trailer under the training of Yoda (Frank Oz).

Evidently, as "Star Wars - Episode 8: The Last Jedi" plays to be a sequel to the trilogy, it will continue where "Star Wars - Episode 7: The Force Awakens" left off, Metro reported. Meanwhile, one fan revealed that Rey's appearance hints the dark theme the new movie has as she is holding her lightsaber. Fans of the movie franchise still have to wait until the middle of April to see the official trailer of the film.
