"Godzilla 2" is now in development as Warner Bros. along with Legendary is now busy completing the film's cast. Aside from the coming of one of the original stars, the two firms are also eyeing to include the O'Shea Jackson Jr. in the film.

In fact, the "Straight Outta Compton" star is now in negotiations to play the unknown role yet in "Godzilla 2." However, it is not yet revealed whom other stars are going to join the sequel to the successful 2014 movie, "Godzilla."

But, it has been said that only Ken Watanabe, who plays the role of Dr. Ishiro Serizawa, is going to return in "Godzilla 2." Variety also reported that the "Stranger Things" superstar Millie Bobby Brown is also going to join the sequel as the daughter of Kyle Chandler and Vera Farmiga's characters.

Moreover, according to Screen Rant, in spite of having high-profile stars, Legendary still keeps the details of "Godzilla" 2 under wraps. There are no words how these characters will be related to each other or get connected to the story.

Also, it is not yet revealed how they will be linked in the first "Godzilla" movie of 2014.The only thing is known in "Godzilla 2" is the character of Watanabe, the doctor who got obsessed with Godzilla and other gigantic monsters.

Meanwhile, viewers who got to watch the recently released "Kong: Skull Island" have been hinted of the coming of "Godzilla 2." In the post-credit scene of the movie, it gave a glimpse how the film will be set.

In "Kong: Skull Island" final scene, Houston Brooks (Corey Hawkins) and San (Tian Jeng) told Mason Weaver (Brie Larson) and James Conrad (Tom Hiddleston) that Kong was not the only monster on Earth. They then showed them a nuclear blast that made Godzilla that will be seen in "Godzilla 2."

"Godzilla 2" will be directed by Michael Dougherty. He, too, co-wrote the movie's script with his "Krampus" co-writer Zach Shields. The movie sequel is set to be released on March 22, 2019.
