Selena Gomez and The Weeknd aren't shying away from sharing their affections for one another on social media.

According to a new report, both Gomez and The Weeknd took to their Instagram pages this week to express their love for one another in a series of posts.

On August 3, as revealed by a report from Hollywood Life, The Weeknd shared an Instagram photo of Gomez's latest cover story for In Style magazine and included the caption “xo.” Meanwhile, Gomez posted a photo of her boyfriend posing alongside models Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk and drew a pink heart on the top right corner.

During her interview with In Style magazine, Gomez didn't hold back after the interviewer pointed out that she appears to be quite happy with her main squeeze.

"I really am. It’s great. I don’t depend on one area of my life to make me happy. It’s really important for me to love and nourish my friends and family and to make sure that I never get influenced by a guy. I’ve wanted to be in a strong headspace for years, and I really wasn’t. Before, I was so young and easily influenced, and I’d feel insecure. You want someone to add to your life, not to complete you, if that makes sense. I’m lucky because he’s more of a best friend than anything else."

Gomez and The Weeknd have been dating for the past seven months and made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the Met Gala event in New York City this past May. Prior to the romance, Gomez dated Justin Bieber and The Weeknd dated Bella Hadid.
