Audrina Patridge’s marriage to Corey Bohan can't be saved.

After less than one year of marriage, the Hills star requested a temporary restraining order, citing alleged instances of emotional abuse and two days later, on September 20, she filed for divorce.

“They won’t recover from this,” a source close to Patridge confirmed to Us Weekly magazine on September 27. “Audrina is better off without him.”

Patridge and Bohan may have only been married for a matter of months, but their relationship began nine years ago and during the final seasons of The Hills, Bohan made a couple of guest appearance. However, when it comes to their relationship, Patridge and Bohan have reportedly always been on and off.

“It’s never been stable,” said a second insider. “Corey has not treated Audrina well over the years. He calls her names and is emotionally abusive... He’s known for excessively calling her when she’s away. He gets paranoid.”

In her court documents against Bohan, Patridge claimed he accused her of cheating and threatened suicide after she left their home and headed to Miami for a business trip in July.

“He’s a loose cannon. They never should have gotten married,” a third source said.

During another instance, Bohan allegedly pushed his wife as she held their daughter.

“He started punching and hitting himself on the head,” her account read. “Then he punched a hole in our bedroom door... I told him he needs professional help and I don’t want my daughter around that environment any more.”

“Audrina is getting out before things get to a certain point,” a Patridge friend added. “She wont go back to him, either. She is adamant about this decision.”
