The X-Men: Days of Future Past set has reunited Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult as apparently more than just movie co-stars.

The two exes have reportedly been seen spending a lot of time together even between filming shots for the movie. A source told Us Weekly, in a report published on Wednesday, that Hoult and Lawrence "always eat lunch together." Still, their encounters off the set are set to be completely platonic.

"It's just a friendship now, though they're getting a lot closer," a source also told the magazine.

As Enstars previously reported, the two were seen spending some time together at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, Canada on June 9. Just days before, they were also spotted hanging out in Montreal on June 2, this time with Lawrence's brother Ben along with his wife and baby.

Hoult and Lawrence reportedly met while on set of the movie's first installment X-Men: First Class, dated and broke up last year. They were together for roughly two years. Lawrence had even once gushed to U.K.'s Vogue about Hoult's looks.

"He has absolutely no idea how good-looking he is," she said in the magazine's November 2012 issue. "I think a lot of women and men hate me because of that."

Despite his recent hangouts with his ex-girlfriend, Hoult explained to The Daily Beast in a February interview why his relationship with the Oscar winner is difficult to maintain. He talked in general about having a steady relationship.

"It's tricky, because you're all over the place," he said. "We were shooting Mad Max: Fury Road for seven months in Namibia, so you're never really in one place, and when you are, they're strange places that are difficult to get to. I wouldn't change it, because you're very fortunate to travel, meet new people, and embark on these new experiences, but it's not great for that side of things."

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits U.S. theaters on July 18, 2014.
