Congrats are in order for Tia Mowry-Hardrict and her husband Cory Hardrict! The two are expecting their first baby girl.

The Big Reveal

Mowry, who also hosts her own Tia Mowry's Quick Fix segment on YouTube, nearly revealed via Instagram that she and Hardrict are expecting a baby girl. She shared a portion of her gender reveal video on the social media site, except the most important part that announced the unborn child’s gender. She had fans go to her YouTube channel for the rest of the video.

There, Mowry bit into a cake pop that was filled with sweets. She couldn’t hold back her excitement as the pink inside were exposed, indicating she was carrying a girl.

Mowry also announced her pregnancy on the internet. She posted a Snapshot of Hardrict, and their son, Cree, kissing her exposed baby bump as she smiled on them. Since then, it’s safe to say Mowry has been rocking her pregnancy. Check out some of her Instagram looks below.

Not An Easy Journey

News of Mowry and Hardrict’s second child is nothing short of a miracle as the Sister, Sister actress has been extremely open in the past about experiencing infertility issues. She has explained in her book, Whole New You, that she was diagnosed with endometriosis. She said in one interview that altering her diet helped treat the condition.

“Food is powerful and has a significant impact,” wrote Mowry. “No matter what you put in your mouth – the good, the bad, or the Cheeto — it’s doing something.”

Mowry was told she had the condition back in 2006 after she went through extreme aches in her abdominal section. She is just one of 6.5 million women in the United States to have been diagnosed with the condition. While she went through surgery, she experienced symptoms such as the abdominal pains again a couple of years later. She underwent surgery a second time but her doctor also told her to change and improve her diet that included a deep-fried cheese tortellini.

Once Mowry removed items like dairy, packaged snacks, refined sugar, and processed meat from her diet, she noticed a great difference such as less pains.

This is baby number two for Hardrict and Mowry. They are parents to son, Cree. Fans saw the documentation of Mowry’s pregnancy with Cree when she and her twin sister, Tamera Mowry-Housley, starred in their own reality show, Tia & Tamera, on Style network.
