Channing Tatum walked the red carpet for the premiere of his latest film White House Down.

The 33-year-old actor looked classy in a stripped navy blue suit at the Washingon D.C. premiere on Friday. See photos from the premiere here.

"Huge thanks to all the fans who came out to our DC screening tonight! #WHD #WHDtour," Tatum wrote on his Instagram page under a photo where he is surrounded by female fans.

The movie also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal who was also at the premiere.

The actress, who wore a black long dress on the red carpet, gave birth to a baby girl named Gloria just two months before filming started. The actress visited Chelsea Lately on Thursday to talk about what it was like to take care of her baby on set.

"When I first started White House Down, Gloria was about two months old," she said. "And they knew they were hiring someone who was nursing. And they said to me, 'That's fine. If you need to go feed her, you go feed her.'''

This, she said, didn't sit well with some crew members.

"The first A.D. was not a father and he was sort of this gruff guy and sometimes he didn't want to stop," she also said.

Gyllenhaal isn't the only star from the movie, however, with a baby. Tatum's wife Jenna Dewan gave birth to their first child on May 31. Tatum had posted a photo of their baby girl on his Facebook on June 16 with the caption, "First Father's Day with my girls." Tatum and his wife married in 2009 after meeting three years prior on the set of Step Up.

In White House Down, Tatum plays a police officer named Cale who attempts to save the president (Jamie Foxx) from a dangerous military force.

Directed by Roland Emmerich, the action flick hits U.S. theaters on June 28.
