One Direction's Zayn Malik reportedly expressed his love for girlfriend in a very permanent way - by getting an image of her face tattooed on his right arm.

The 20-year-old, who has been dating Edwards for a little over a year, got the Little Mix singer's face tattooed over his upper right arm and was photographed getting the ink job done. The tattoo shows Edwards, 20, in a bobble hat, what looks like a camouflage jacket and a T-shirt with a peace symbol in it as her wavy hair flows down her waist.. Malik got the tattoo on Tuesday while in Maryland.

Malik already has a number of tattoos, including a silver fern and words across his collarbone that read "be true to who you are." He also has his grandfather's name on his chest in Arabic, and a yin and yang symbol on his wrist.

The latest work was done at the Tattooed Heart Studios and fellow 1D singer Louis Tomlinson also got a tattoo. TMZ reported that the 21-year-old had a spiderweb added to his lower right arm, because he likes Spider-Man, and a bomb also on his foreman. The tattoos were placed near his already existing images of a horseshoe, a teacup, the words "OOPS!" and a pencil.

He also got a a drawing of a rope tied around his wrist, with the front shaped in the infinity sign and the back dramatically snapped with quotation marks around it. He reportedly uploaded a picture of the tattoo on his Twitter account, see here, though it has since been removed.
