Donald Trump Jr. Gets A Concealed Weapon Permit Days Following March For Our Lives Protest

Donald Trump Jr. is showing off his passion for firearms. The 40-year-old New York City resident just got a concealed weapon permit.

The Pennsylvania Excursion

According to Page Six, the presidential son decided to show his love of guns by getting a concealed weapon permit in Pennsylvania. Many insiders in the Trump Organization wondered why Trump Jr. chose to apply for his concealed weapon permit in the Keystone State's Lackawanna County. The permit was issued to Trump Jr. before his ex-wife, Vanessa, filed for divorce from him. The license lasts five years, but he cannot use the weapon in his home state of New York.

"It isn't clear why Don Jr. applied for the permit in Pennsylvania. But there is speculation that he didn't do it in New York because you have to supply financials," said an insider to Page Six.

The New York Police Department has strict rules regarding concealed weapon permits in the state. In addition to providing the required paperwork, there might be circumstances where the applicant needs to show their New York state tax return.

March For Our Lives Aftermath

News of Trump's concealed weapon permit comes days after hundreds of March For Our Lives movements across the country. People Magazine reported that over the weekend, at least 1.2 million people joined the march to campaign for stricter gun control policies. Countless celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, and Miley Cyrus participated in the marches or talked about the movement on social media.

Other celebrities at the event aimed their outrage at elected officials. Amy Schumer delivered a fiery speech at the Los Angeles rally. She accused politicians of "killing children" and twisting the words that their detractors throw at them. Meanwhile, Kendall Jenner, who was in attendance at the Los Angeles rally, wore a denim jacket that spoke volumes. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star had a black and white photo of President Trump with the letter R and number 13 on it. The jacket also had a quote sewn on it that stated, "GOD SAVE US...HE AIN'T MY PRESIDENT."

Aubrey And Melissa

As Trump Jr. prepares to go to divorce court, several women came forward to reveal their interactions with the real estate businessman while he was still married to Vanessa. It was announced that former Dainty Kane member and The Celebrity Apprentice alum Aubrey O'Day had an affair with the oldest son of Donald Trump. Their relationship reportedly started after the show's production wrapped up in 2011, but the romance ended in March 2012.

Meanwhile, former model Melissa Stetten stated that she was not surprised when news broke regarding Trump Jr.'s divorce from Vanessa. Stetten shared several lewd tweets that the businessman sent her in 2011 on social media. The model added that he followed her and she decided to follow him back. She also revealed that it was entertaining to watch Trump Jr.'s failed attempts at flirting. On Thursday, March 15, Vanessa filed for divorce at a New York City Supreme Court. The couple has five children together.
