Pop star Kylie Minogue decides to build a relationship with Kylie Jenner and her family after the two engaged in a name trademark legal battle, which Minogue won last year.

Kylie Minogue Is Moving On From The Lawsuit

The former coach of The Voice UK and The Voice Australia sat down in an interview with international media journalist Dan Wootton in a recent episode of his podcast.

In the latest edition of his podcast series Bizarre Life with Dan Wootton, Minogue stated that she is ready to rebuild a professional relationship with Kylie Jenner and the Kardashian family. The "Can't Get You Outta My Head" singer revealed to Wootton that they got into a legal argument over the right to use their name.

"There was some legal back and forth and it was all dealt with really well and as nice as can be. I just don't know that they really about it," said Minogue.

Minogue further pointed out that anyone who says Kylie in the United States, people will think of Kylie Jenner. However, she argued that it's a different story in her native country, Australia, or even New Zealand.

Music News also added that the singer added that the name was not as popular at the time before Jenner was born in 1997. Nonetheless, Minogue won the case and she now wants to "build bridges" with the Kardashian-Jenner family.

Notably, the interview with Wootton came a few weeks before Minogue released her latest studio album Golden.

The Lawsuit

Despite racking up millions of fans on social media and having a new daughter in the process, Jenner could not precisely trademark her name. In 2017, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office turned down Jenner's request to copyright her own name.

Sources stated the reason why the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office denied her application because it would ultimately confuse consumers and would undermine Minogue's brand.

What's Up, Kylie Jenner?

In related news, Jenner has been dealing with drama from the extended cast of characters that exist in the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Rob Kardashian's ex, Blac Chyna, allegedly shaded both Kylie and her daughter, Stormi Webster, on social media.

Also, Blac Chyna's ex-boyfriend and Jenner's former flame, Tyga, stated that he is not the father of Stormi Webster. He also added that he is not interested in revisiting his fling with Kylie Jenner.

Jenner and her boyfriend Travis Scott revealed recently on Instagram that they both have a matching set of Lamborghinis. While the Instagram story has since been taken down, her 106 million followers saw that the Life of Kylie star put the phrase "Mom & Dad" on the cars.
