George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney are still in parental bliss. Amal recently dished on the twins’ first words and about nursing in a new interview.

Clooney Twins' First Words

Amal shared her thoughts on parenting so far. She and her husband welcomed twins Alexander and Ella last June. While Amal is a popular human rights lawyer and George is an iconic actor, it’s safe to say their twins, who havealreasy rubbed elbows with the rich and famous, are still quite normal so far.

Amal, who speaks three different languages herself, revealed their children’s first words.

“We’ve had some ‘Mamas’ and ‘Dadas,’” said Amal in her cover story with Vogue. “George was very careful to ensure that ‘Mama’ was the first word.”

She went on to let fans in on what a typical morning in the Clooney household looks like. She said the twins get to snuggle in their parents’ bed in the morning before Amal and George begin their day. While they both have busy schedules, Amal said she makes it a point not to take or initiate phone calls before 8 a.m.

Nursing Twins Is No Joke

Amal also didn’t hold back as she explained her nursing experience. She revealed that Alexander is “quite a healthy eater,” as she said breastfeeding two infants isn’t an easy task.

“When I was nursing, it was much more complicated, because there are two,” said Amal. “I had all manner of weird cushions and pillows and machines.”

When it comes to which parent the twins look like the most, word is Alexander looks like George, and Ella like Amal. Interestingly enough, George initially didn’t want to confess that Ella looks more like Amal than him.

“My daughter looks exactly like Amal,” said George at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall. “She has big beautiful eyes…It’s incredible.”

George And Amal Are Still In Love

Despite being parents now to infant twins, George and Amal have managed to enjoy alone time as well. They were spotted on a dinner date in New York City Thursday, April 5. They were also seen enjoying each other’s company the following day. Amal is a professor at Columbia University in the city.

Amal said she and George take great measures in making sure that the personal part of their lives stays private. While she hinted she’s not a fan of constantly living in the public eye, she said she's had moments when her privacy was violated, thanks to major happenings in her life like being pregnant with the twins and marrying George.
