Cardi B shut down naysayers who said that she cannot cope up with her pregnancy at the height of her career or vice versa. The rapper said not to worry about her because she got it all covered.

Baby Or Career

Cardi B, born Belcalis Almanzar, responded to the criticisms about her pregnancy during an interview on Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning show on Monday. The "Bodak Yellow" singer talked about her career, her pregnancy, and her relationship with fiancé Offset. Cardi B responded to the negative comments she has read online about her pregnancy and reiterated that she is perfectly capable of being a mother and a successful artist at the same time.

"Why can't I have both? Why do I have to choose a baby or a career? A family or a career? What am I doing wrong?" Cardi B told hosts Laura Stylez and Ebro.

Cardi B straight out shushed those who think that she cannot handle the pressures of her career while being heavily pregnant. The "Bartier Cardi" singer assured the pessimists that she is going to be just fine if she chooses both a baby and a career.

"I'm 25 years old, and I'mma say this in the most humblest way: I'm a millionaire. I'm established. The industry is never promised, but I know that if I make the right money move, I'm gonna always have money," she added.

Cardi B also mentioned the fact that she is not alone in seeing her pregnancy through. She has her fiancé, Offset, to help her and help raise the baby. She talked about him and acknowledged that even though she is the fourth baby mama, she is certain that Offset is going to take good care of their baby.

"My my man is a great father to his kids, so I will never lose. I'm not having a baby with a deadbeat," Cardi B said.

Criticisms

The Bronx-native has a lot on her plate on top of being pregnant. She is due to perform at the Coachella Festival on April 15 and 22. She is also opening for Bruno Mars in the fall during several stops in his tour. It is not surprising why people doubted if Cardi B could keep up with her pregnancy at the height of her career and they shared their thoughts on social media.
