Disney and the Marvel Studios have released a family-friendly trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the film.

Behind The Scenes

The "Family" featurette did away with the dark undertones prevalent in the previously released trailers for Avengers: Infinity War. Instead, the preview showcases the fun and excitement that happened on the set in the duration of the film's production.

The trailer shows how much the cast gets along. They share laughs and joke around on the set. The featurette also includes interviews, where the actors talked about their experiences working with the cast.

Fun Experience

Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord, expresses his gratitude for being part of the Avengers and saving the world alongside costar Chris Hemsworth, who portrays Thor.

Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) says she cherishes the "very special friendship" that developed between her, Roberty Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), and Jon Favreau from the past 10 years of working together, starting with the first Iron Man film. Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) marvels at the years she has grown working with the Avengers cast.

"It's been this witnessing of like people's lives growing and changing. It's been a really cool experience," Olsen says.

Images of Olsen in character in Avengers: Infinity War play out in the background, including an intimate moment with Vision (Paul Bettany) that was disrupted as they break into laughter. Elsewhere, Black Panther actress Danai Gurira (Okoye) opens up about how she had fun working with Olsen.

"Working with Lizzy it's been really, really awesome. I think there is something powerful about being able to play women who do heroic things and those women are so awesome so we've had a really good time," Gurira says while scenes of Okoye, Black Widow, Nebula, and Scarlett Witch fighting off villains play in the background.

Meanwhile, Karen Gillan calls hanging out with everyone on the set as the best part of the job because she considers the cast as extended family. Then Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) pokes fun at Pratt's sense of humor, and Downey expresses his infatuation with Cumberbatch. He says he got to know the actor better from the time they spent on and off set.

Lastly, Mark Ruffalo calls Downey Jr. as the "godfather" among the Avengers cast because of the journey he has made. Suffice to say that Downey paved the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the first Iron Man film.

"It's literally been the adventure of a lifetime. I get a little misty thinking about it," Downey says in the video.

Notably missing from the "Family" featurette for Avengers: Infinity War are Chris Evans (Captain America), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther).

Avengers: Infinity War brings all the heroes together in a mission to defeat Thanos and put an end to his plan of destroying the universe. The film opens in U.S. theaters on April 27.
