Zoe Saldana was all smiles during her appearance on Thursday as she received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star while her family witnessed the important event.

The Guardians of the Galaxy actress was honored and what better way to do this than to bring her three children and husband, which was quite a rare scene. Others present at the ceremony were director James Cameron, who directed Saldana's Avatar, and Mila Kunis, who has appeared with the 39-year-old in films like After Sex and Get Over It.

Apart from what really is the highlight of the event, Saldana's family became the scene-stealer. Her husband, Marco Perego-Saldana, and their three children all wearing color-coordinated outfits, twins Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio, and Zen Anton Hilario looked adorable as they watch on the matriarch.

Praises

Kunis praised Saldana, who she has worked with not only on cam, but also off cam. The That '70s Show alum, who came with her husband Ashton Kutcher, gushed over the wonderful mom, actress, and businesswoman, whom she referred to as her "partner in crime."

The compliments continued with Cameron, who lauded Saldana for being a "resilient, strong, determined" thespian. He further expressed his awe of how the actress manages to do all those things while being a mom to three. Moreover, the filmmaker credited her husband for support.

For her acceptance speech, Saldana made sure she credited the people who matter most and has become a large part of her life, her family. She said that they are the ones who kept her grounded.

"But what makes me most excited when I wake up? The three masterpieces that we have created: Zen, Cy and Bowie. Mama te quiere, I love you," Saldana said.

Career

The good news came days after the premiere of Avengers: Infinity War, in which she played Gamora. The film has been lauded and is a box-office hit. Saldana was seen in the two films of Guardians of the Galaxy, and is set to appear on the next Avengers installment.

Saldana has had a wonderful and colorful career for the past years in the industry that started when she became a guest in 1999 in one episode of Law & Order. Apart from acting, she is also a ballet dancer, which probably was why her 2000 film Center Stage became a good fit for her.

Perhaps, her breakthrough was her role in Star Trek in 2009, where she was Uhura. Saldana reprised her role for the next installments of the film.
