"Me time" is important but rare for married couples. However, Hailey Baldwin-Bieber recently allowed his husband Justin Bieber the same kind of treat.

A month after their second wedding, the "What Do You Mean" singer left his wife at home to spend a day going on a road trip alone. The whole day tour included Bieber reflecting all by himself and reconnecting with nature.

For a day, he traveled towards North and ended up taking a break at Lake Tahoe in Northern California.

The 25-year-old singer shared a photoset of the sublime view of the picturesque mountain range and crystal clear lake on his Instagram account. Along with his snaps, he captioned, "Took a road trip by myself to pray, think reflect.. Time to get back to WIFEY."

In response, Hailey wrote "yayyyyyyy" on the same post to welcome her husband back.

A year after they got secretly married at a New York courthouse, Bieber and Hailey said "I Do" for the second time during their religious wedding ceremony on Sept. 30, 2019, at a hotel in South Carolina.

A Long-Awaited Break

After Selena Gomez released her new songs, Justin and Hailey went through a lot of issues.

It started with the drama when Hailey allegedly threatened Gomez after she released her song "Lose You to Love Me." In what many believe was a threat to Selena, Hailey posted on her IG Stories the song "I Will Kill You." She later on clarified that it was not an attack on Gomez and asked the singer's fans to stop the nonsense theories and speculations.

Gomez then defended Hailey hours after her fans bombarded the social media accounts of the model with negative comments. Selena pleaded her supporters not to cause any harm to Hailey since "a woman tearing another woman" is something she never likes to happen.

Not long after, however, the issue went alive again as Gomez admitted that her songs "Lose You to Love Me" and "Look at Her Now" were really about her ex-boyfriend, Bieber. During her guesting on the Zach Sang Show, Selena admitted that she wanted him to listen to it but clarified that her intentions were also pure.

"My intentions can be a bit snappy but I always want to come from a place that's genuine, and when I feel like some things haven't been said, then, I get to turn things into art," Selena clarified.

The drama, of course, did not stop there.

Bieber discussed with Hollywood Life how much he respected Gomez's decision to write about him since "it had always been like that." He told the news entertainment site that he was prepared for it -- knowing Selena draw inspiration from her past lovers.

He ended the issue by saying that he wanted to focus on his married life now and that he has already moved on from the past.
